There are a few of these for inspirational people - teachers, librarians etc. And I'm chuffed to bits to have been nominated - especially given the category of Creative Writing!
It's all thanks to my interview with Talli Roland. It seems that one of her many fans nominated us as a result of reading it. And they found it, along with the following comments, inspirational enough to take the time to do this. The award organisers then took a look and e-mailed me to say that this had happened.
The difference with this award is that, as it says, my blog has been nominated. It is the readers who will get a chance to vote later in the month. I shall post about that when voting starts with a link and what to do.
So my thanks to our anonymous benefactor. And I say 'our' as I think it's the guests and readers who deserve this. They all inspire me, that's for sure, either to blog about subjects they've enjoyed or through comments that spark off other ideas. And all my guest have been fabulous. So everyone deserves to enjoy this nomination, not just me.
Now for a bit of boring 'housekeeping'. It's been pointed out to me some of the 'Author in the Headlights' interviews have disappeared. I tried to do something to separate the blog from the interviews, but it didn't work as I wanted it. I thought I'd republished them, but apparently not.
My apologies in advance to those who follow by e-mail. I suspect you'll get notifications that an interview has gone up. Please ignore these and delete as they are no different from the originals. I have to get them back on my blog so the authors can access them to share the link.
Your patience is much appreciated.
I will be posting my thoughts on the RNA conference, which took place last weekend, very soon. Once I've recovered, that is!

Congratulations, Rebecca and Talli! A well deserved award for a great blog. x
